Late afternoon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, where you will be greeted by your Heritage Tours in-country guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 3: CAPE TOWN
Meet your private Heritage Tours guide. Full-day private tour of the Cape Point and Cape Peninsula: the southernmost point of Africa and subject of centuries of mariner lore.

Day 4: CAPE TOWN
Full day tour with your private guide of historic Cape Town.

Day 5: CAPE TOWN
Morning visit to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for nearly 30 years. You will be led through the complex by a former prisoner of Robben Island. Afternoon at leisure to explore the Waterfront district.

Day 6: CAPE TOWN – WINELANDS
With your private guide, spend the morning at the world-renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the Cape Winelands. Your afternoon includes wine tastings at some of the Wineland’s finest estates and a private walking tour of historic Stellenbosch.

Full day at leisure to enjoy the Winelands or to partake in one of the activities offered by your hotel.

Day 8: WINELANDS – PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Transfer to Cape Town Airport. Board your flight to a small airport in the bush and continue to the world renowned Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, adjacent (and open to) Kruger National Park, where you will enjoy some of the finest game viewing in the world. Get settled and enjoy your first lunch in the bush. Early afternoon at leisure to enjoy the facilities of the lodge. Depart on your afternoon game drive in your open 4 x 4 safari vehicle in search of the legendary Big Five: Elephant, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo and Lion. You will then embark on a spotlight drive through the bush to explore the nocturnal life of the savannah. Return to the lodge for dinner around an open fire.

Day 9: PRIVATE GAME RESERVE
Wake before sunrise. Early morning tea or coffee, depart in your 4 x 4 vehicles with your ranger and tracker for a game drive in the bush. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, optional game walk with your expert ranger to learn about conservation and wildlife. Lunch on the viewing deck. Early afternoon at leisure to enjoy the pool and other facilities of the lodge. Tea, coffee and cakes will be served on the veranda. Depart on your afternoon/evening game drive and spotlight drive. Return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 10: PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

Day 11: MORNING PRIVATE GAME RESERVE - JOHANNESBURG
Wake before sunrise. Early morning tea or coffee, depart for your final game drive. After breakfast at the lodge and farewells, you will transfer to the closest airport for your next flight. If you are not taking advantage of an optional extension, your flight will return you to Johannesburg for your flight home.

Day 11: MORNING PRIVATE GAME RESERVE - JOHANNESBURG
After your safari and your return flight to Johannesburg, overnight in Johannesburg so that you may catch the next morning’s flight. Optional (and recommended) sightseeing opportunities at an extra charge include the excellent Apartheid museum and Alexandra township. (Or just relax and catch your breath!). We will give you our list of recommended restaurants so you may explore Jo’burg’s hip restaurant scene
Overnight: Johannesburg.

Day 12: JOHANNESBURG - VICTORIA FALLS
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your two hour nonstop flight to the Zambian side of the Falls. Upon your arrival at Livingstone, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Spend the afternoon enjoying the Falls at your leisure. Cocktail and hors d’oeuvres while on sunset cruise on the Zambesi.
Overnight: Victoria Falls.

Day 13: VICTORIA FALLS
Day at leisure: your hotel offers plenty of activities.

Day 14: VICTORIA FALLS
Breakfast at your hotel. You will be transferred back to the airport for your return flight to Johannesburg, where you will connect with your flight home.

From your safari airport, board your Pelican Air airplane for your nonstop flight to the small town of Vilanculos, Mozambique. Here, you will take a small plane flight to your idyllic island paradise on the Bazaruto archipelago, in the warm blue waters of the Indian Ocean. After lunch, enjoy the afternoon at leisure for snorkeling, countless other activities or just to relax on the beach. Sunset dhow cruise followed by dinner.
Overnight: Bazaruto Archipelago.

Day 12: BAZARUTO ARCHIPELAGO
You will have the entire day at leisure to enjoy the island, its extensive beaches and water activities, or just to relax. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all included.
